Online Couples Counseling

Helping couples refocus on their relationship, restore balance and trust, and rekindle intimacy.

Are you and your partner are always arguing?

You just had a huge blow up and someone said they’re “done”. But if we’re being honest, it’s not the first time a seemingly harmless disagreement ended so horribly. You’re feeling chronically misunderstood and disconnected, and you can hardly remember the last time you felt close or in sync. You long for the fun and excitement you had at the beginning of your relationship, but right now you’d be happy if you could just get through a day without fighting. You don’t know how to talk to each other anymore, much less how to stop arguing.

All you know is that it can’t keep going on like this- something’s gotta give.

You want to stay in this, but you’re tired, overwhelmed and feeling like giving up.

It feels like your relationship challenges are too big to solve. You don’t know where to start.

  • You keep having the same discussion over and over without getting anywhere

  • You’re dissatisfied with sex and intimacy

  • You’re struggling to stay focused at work

  • Your energy levels are at an all time low

  • You find yourself feeling resentful and comparing hurts

Learn to live fully, love well, and build a relationship that lasts.

You can have a loving, affectionate marriage. You can learn to communicate better. You can have a passionate sex life. You can feel safe with each other again. And I can help you get there.

Couple’s Therapy helps you:

  • Build a solid foundation of trust, respect, and fondness.

  • Feel free and safe in your relationship

  • Understand how your (and your partner’s) past wounds are impacting the present.

  • Have the intimacy you want with your partner

I’ll help you through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to couple’s counseling comes from a place of optimism and practicality, believing that you and your partner can truly walk through anything together if you’re willing to learn some new tricks.

I’ll be here to support you each step of the way.

Have some questions about what working with me will look like?

  • I am a fairly directive couple’s counselor. This means I’ll be actively involved in our sessions, but I’ll also ask you to communicate directly to your partner more than to me.

For most couples, I utilize the Gottman Method, which allows us to focus on practicing effective communication skills in session so you feel prepared to utilize them right away at home.

Couple’s sessions can be 60-minutes or 90-minutes, and we meet online using a secure telehealth platform called Simple Practice.

  • The length of time we’ll spend together will depend on your needs as a couple. Some couples come in to address a specific issue while others find that they stay with me for a while as their lives evolve and circumstances change.

As long as counseling continues to be helpful, I’ll be here to support you.

  • While I can’t make guarantees, there’s always hope for growth, healing, and change.

My job is to support you by guiding you to new insights and equip you with new tools - your job is to do the tough stuff and act on it outside of our sessions.

  • It’s not uncommon for one partner to want to seek support before the other is ready. But don’t fret, I’m happy to meet with you individually- we’ll simply work on identifying your individual goals until your other half is ready to join.

  • Fees are $200/60 minute and $275/90 minute sessions.
