Online Counseling for Infidelity

Helping couples and individuals heal and move froward from infidelity and betrayal.

But how could this happen to us?

You never thought you'd find yourselves in this position. Your relationship agreement has been broken, trust has been shattered, and reality has turned upside down. You have no clue how to move forward...or even if you want to move forward. You have so many questions... How do we even begin to recover from this? What’s wrong with me that my partner cheated? How could someone say they love me and then hurt me so badly? How could we ever reestablish trust?

You never understood how someone could step out and betray their marriage…until you found yourself making one small choice after one small choice that eventually lead to the ultimate relationship violation. Now you wonder if there’s any hope of gaining back what you lost. You would do anything to go back and do it differently, but you also want your partner to understand what lead you to look outside your relationship.

You feel betrayed, regretful, and completely lost.

You want to repair the damage caused by infidelity, but you have no clue where to start…

  • You keep asking the same questions over and over without feeling any better

  • You’re regretful but frustrated that your partner can’t seem to get past it

  • Your entire understanding of your marriage has been turned upside down

  • You have nightmares or flashbacks

  • You’re confused that your sex life has gotten better after the affair

Counseling for infidelity can help

Infidelity doesn’t have to be the end of your relationship. Marriages can survive and even thrive after an affair. It is possible to heal and connect again. You can trust again. And I can help you get there.

Couple’s Counseling helps you:

  • Address the immediate crisis of pain and shock

  • Understand the meaning of an affair

  • Recover from relational trauma

  • Restore trust and intimacy

Whether you’re trying to understand your own behavior, working to heal from your partner’s betrayal, or trying to move forward as a couple, I’m here to help you navigate the aftermath of infidelity. My approach to infidelity therapy comes from a place of compassion and understanding. I can help you use the breech of trust as a catalyst for change into something beautiful and even better than what you had before.

I’ll be here to support you each step of the way.

Have some questions about what working with me will look like?

  • I am a fairly directive couple’s counselor. This means I’ll be actively involved in our sessions, but I’ll often ask you to communicate directly to your partner rather than to me.

Couple’s sessions can be 60-minutes or 90-minutes, and we meet online using a secure telehealth platform called Simple Practice.

  • The length of time we’ll spend together will depend on your needs as a couple. Some couples find they simply need to address the initial shock and pain of an affair while others need time to fully heal and move forward together.

As long as counseling continues to be helpful, I’ll be here to support you.

  • While I can’t make guarantees, there’s always hope for growth, healing, and change.

My job is to support you by guiding you to new insights and equip you with new tools - your job is to do the tough stuff and act on it outside of our sessions.

  • It’s not uncommon for one partner to want to seek support before the other is ready. But don’t fret, I’m happy to meet with you individually- we’ll simply work on identifying your individual goals until your other half is ready to join.

  • Fees are $200/60 minute and $275/90 minute sessions.
